ABOUT US

Margate Pride CIC is an artist-led, not for profit community interest company dedicated to promoting the diversity of love in our town.

It is predominantly organised by people who identify as LGBTQIA; however, it is for everyone. We believe in building a pride event that is truly representative of the people of Margate and is an alternative to other mainstream prides.

We want to build a pride of which we can all be proud.

We are committed to developing sustainable links with schools, colleges, residential homes and community groups throughout the town. For us, pride is not just celebrating one day, it as about building and developing authentic relationships and networks that benefit all of us – all of the time.

If you have an idea for a project, be it a float, a talk, a scheme, an exhibition or an event, get in touch and we will be happy to schedule a meeting to talk about how we can help elevate your idea.

You are your pride. If you have an idea, it’s up to you to make it happen and we will help you in any way we can.

In order to make the event happen, we have a number of guidelines and deadlines to which we have to adhere. If you would like to be involved in any way, we are always happy to help and advise you.
