What if you could go back and meet your younger self? What would you say? What would you want them to know? ‘A Note to My Young, Queer Self’ asks just this.
Join local, queer writer-performers, who bravely share heartfelt letters addressed to their younger selves. Through these personal notes, they revisit pivotal moments of self-discovery, struggle, resilience and joy, offering a candid glimpse into the journey of embracing their queer identities.
As the sun sets over Margate on the eve of Pride Day, we share an evening of poignant reflections, inspiration and probably quite a few laughs.
“A Note to My Young, Queer Self” is a celebration of the strength and beauty found in living authentically. A powerful exploration of the past and its enduring impact on the present, reminding us all of the importance of self-acceptance and the transformative power of sharing our stories.
