Charlee M. Piper’s Fight Like Hell is both a requiem and a beacon of hope. The exhibition features works in progress that have been part of Charlee’s previous solo exhibitions. The centrepiece of the exhibition honours the lives of gender-diverse folx who have been lost to hate. Quilts on either side offer viewers an opportunity to add their own memorials to queer loved ones along with messages to queer youth or their younger selves.
The exhibition will be hosted by The Shop Front from the second week in October through November.
