VOLUNTEERING

Margate Pride is a DIY grassroots Pride and cannot happen without our wonderful volunteers! There are several roles that need filling, and you play an essential part of the day!

For Pride day on 10th August, we have several shifts at the bandstand. Roles include welcoming people at the ticket desk; directing people to the welfare tent if needed; smiling; answering questions; encouraging people to complete our essential feedback forms; dancing; helping with litter picking and directing visitors to bins! spreading joy and petting dogs.

We also need stewards in the parade! You will receive training beforehand (via zoom session) and a briefing on the day as well as being fed & watered : )

Sign up here: https://www.margatepride.org.uk/volunteer-hub/
